Message from the Director of Alumni Relations and Volunteer Engagement
Dear FIRSTNAME:
I wanted to personally give you an update on Baruch College and CUNY's response to the COVID-19 situation. As per Baruch Interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs James McCarthy, the College has begun transitioning all classes to a "distance learning" model. Per CUNY, the next five days will constitute an "instructional recess" during which there will be no physical classes. Following that recess, to end on March 19, all classes will resume, offered in distance learning formats, through the end of the Spring 2020 semester. Read more about CUNY's response and guidance here.
In regards to the Office of Alumni Relations and Volunteer Engagement, we made the difficult decision of canceling all of our in-person March events and will update you soon on the status of our events in April and beyond.
