Message from the Director of Alumni Relations and Volunteer Engagement
Dear FIRSTNAME:
During these partisan times, I recommend you consider attending the Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs Debate Watch 2020 @Baruch for the next two presidential debates on Thursday, October 15 and Thursday, October 22. It is exciting to view the debates as part of an intellectually curious and historically attentive group of Baruch faculty, students, alumni, and staff. Fifteen minutes before each debate, Baruch faculty experts review the format, topics, and political environment. Afterwards, the community gathers for a discussion about what transpired.
Meanwhile, for alumni concerned about the future of New York City, I urge you to register for the Zicklin School of Business's panel discussion Will the Pandemic Force New York City to Relive the Budget Crisis of the 1970s? taking place next Tuesday, October 13, at 11 am and moderated by Larry Zicklin ('57). Another program about NYC you may be interested in is our Real Estate Club's upcoming panel discussion Getting Residential Real Estate Sold during COVID-19, taking place next Thursday, October 15.
