Message from the Director of Alumni Relations and Volunteer Engagement
Dear FIRSTNAME:
It is official: All of Baruch—and CUNY—classes, events, and programs are going to remain virtual through June 2021. While this is a relief from the perspective of protecting our students, faculty, and staff from the coronavirus, I feel a little sad that we are not going to gather together or hug one another for many more months. We therefore must come up with other ways to share our love and gratitude this holiday season.
One way we hope to share a little Baruch love is by creating a Buy Baruch Holiday Gift Guide 2020. If you run a small business and are able to offer a special online shopping deal to fellow Bearcats this holiday season, please fill out this Gift Guide Submission Form by November 23. We will then circulate the guide the first week of December so that alumni can purchase gifts for loved ones while supporting Baruch-owned small businesses.
We also hope you will join us for what will surely be a beautiful evening at the Diwali Gala 2020 on Thursday, November 19. The annual Indian Festival of Light will include a dance performance, a candle lighting ceremony, and other activities hosted by the Baruch Asian Heritage Alumni Network and the Indian Student Association. Everyone is welcome, whether it is your first or 51st Diwali celebration.
