Are you avoiding uncomfortable conversations in the career process? Do you find yourself choosing to ignore issues at work rather than address them? Do you end up in lose-lose situations which leave you feeling drained and powerless? There are many reasons why we believe conversations are difficult: the stakes are high, there's an imbalance of power, or the fear of adverse consequences is present. This can lead us to avoid/mishandle situations that desperately need to be addressed. In this 3-part webinar in the Human Approach series, we'll work on developing skills to communicate effectively, increasing your ability to discern if a conversation is even necessary, exploring how to approach these conversations in a way that builds trust, and deconstructing why essential conversations can feel difficult in the first place.
