Baruch alumna and human resource professionals join us for a discussion on the pandemic's impact on women. We will explore how the shift to remote work has changed women's bargaining power, why more women are leaving the workforce, and what can we expect in the years to come.



Nakia James-Jenkins | Partner at On-Ramps

Nakia James-Jenkins is a Partner at On-Ramps, a recruiting and consulting firm that works with mission-driven organizations. Prior to joining On-Ramps, Nakia served leadership positions at Girls Who Code, KIPP NYC, and the Manhattan Borough President’s office, driving the development of their people and cultures.  Throughout her personal and professional life, Nakia has championed educational advancement for women through volunteerism, mentorship, financial contributions, and career advisory.

Nakia holds an M.P.A. from CUNY Baruch College, Marxe School of Public, and International Affairs, an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College and a B.S. in Organizational Management from Nyack College. Nakia sits on the Board of Directors of STEM From Dance, a nonprofit organization focused on preparing Black and Latina girls for STEM education and careers through dance, holds the Lead Coach role with Represented Foundation supporting their V.E.R. Social impact Incubator fellows, and continues to provide executive coaching and organizational development consultancy to nonprofit and for-profit leaders and organizations. Originally from Harlem, NY, Nakia lives in Montclair, NJ with her husband and two sons.


Patsy Moreau / Human Resources Manager / Infinity Consulting Solutions, Inc.

Patsy is an HR professional with over 16 years of experience working as an HR business partner leading the HR function for distinguished organizations in both the legal and consulting industries. She has experience in talent management, change strategies, recruitment & selection, and employee engagement.  She is an alum of Baruch College, graduated in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in finance Investments & real estate finance with a minor in Organization Psychology.   She earned a masters in Organization Development and Leadership from St. Joseph’s University this past year.  Patsy serves on committees that support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts, women initiatives, and mental health and wellness programs. In the last 19 months, she has been tasked to help the executive team usher its remote workforce into a post-COVID environment, supporting the changing needs of employees and the long -term business goals of the organization.
