Baruch and Beyond is the catch-all brand for student-oriented programming featuring alumni participants and hosted by the Office of Alumni Relations. The programming will range from single alumni speaker programs to networking and mixer events with dozens of alumni in attendance. The purpose of the events will be to give the students a view to the future beyond their time at Baruch. Alumni who participate will have the chance to share their individual experiences and provide insight into either a particular industry, career path, and/or personal endeavors that have led them to where they are now. In turn, students will not only learn best practices from individuals who have been in their shoes, but also shown the value in giving back as an alum. Ultimately, we seek to foster the lifelong relationship Baruch students can have with the Baruch community and the opportunities for continued connection beyond graduation.
Baruch and Beyond events primarily take place during club hours or early weekday evenings. The time commitment is very small – one to three hours – but the impact will be substantial.
