Close to 250 undergraduate students from Baruch College walked away with elegant but heavily discounted business attire at the Starr Career Development Center’s annual Suit Up For Success event.
Suit Up For Success enables undergraduate students to upgrade their professional wardrobes by purchasing both new and gently used business attire at discounted rates. On sale were ties for $3, handbags for $5, entire suits for $10, blazers for $5, among other professional clothing and accessories.
Baruch alum, Reuel Matthew (’10, MS ’11), founder of Egami Collections – a bespoke suit design and tailoring company – facilitated on the spot and free of cost measurements, ensuring the perfect fit for a lasting impression. This year, Suit Up For Success raised double the amount of money raised last year, and will direct these funds to further support Starr’s corporate clothing closet which is available for students to borrow from for various professional events throughout the year.
